Sand Art

The story of my sand artwork

​

One day I decided to travel to the coast.  A friend suggested that I create sand art.  

Creating sand artwork was challenging and fun at the same time.  The sand had to have the right amount of water to keep its form.

The fun part of it was being close to the water, hearing the waves crash onto the shore and sharing the space with strangers and seagulls.

There were times when children would ask to join in the creation of the artwork.  The experience taught me to create and collaborate with no expectations.
